The Joy Theater is an iconic New Orleans entertainment venue with roots in the golden age of downtown cinema. Kupperman purchased the historic theater with GBX Group in 2019 and repositioned it after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following stabilization, the Joy Theater was sold — delivering strong investor returns while preserving one of New Orleans' most beloved cultural institutions for future generations.
