The Rampart Hotel is a boutique hotel situated on the edge of the French Quarter and the Tremé neighborhood in New Orleans — one of the most historically significant corridors in the city. The property was redeveloped with a strong commitment to celebrating the local arts and culture that define the surrounding community.
The Rampart Hotel features a commissioned mural by internationally celebrated artist Eduardo Kobra, depicting jazz legend Louis Armstrong, anchoring the property's identity in the musical heritage of New Orleans.
The Rampart Hotel was developed in partnership with ERG Enterprises on one of the most historically significant blocks in New Orleans — 300 S. Rampart Street, widely recognized as the birthplace of jazz. The all-suite property was converted from former medical offices in a blighted historic building. A landmark-scale mural of Louis Armstrong by the internationally recognized Brazilian street artist Kobra anchors the property's cultural identity.
